I've recently decided to ignore my growing need for new running sneakers. My sneakers have a good 1,000 miles on them- any runner knows that this is a recipe for disaster.
In my attempt to save money, I am going to run on soft surfaces. I am forbidding myself from running on pavement. I've got to hit the track, the beach, the dirt, whatever it takes... I'm holding off on buying new sneaks. Now, my whole plan might backfire on me. My frugal self might wind up with one hell of a stress fracture- but at least I won't have to buy a new pair of shoes. besides, I can get more hours of use out of boots than I could a pair of sneakers. And if I'm sidelined with an injury, I can stay in bed and not feel guilty about it.

I am sad that this is the only post in months. I've read it several times. I may even turn these blog words into a musical.
Meg,
It's been three months since you blogged. I'm contemplating your removal from my favorite blogs section. It's sad, really.
Don't let me down.
Love,
Michelle
