Travel and Truffles

Last night after we finished shooting, we darted back to the hotel. Linds and I finished up some scripts and then headed to dinner at Giorgio Baldi. We had an amazing time and amazing food. Truffle pasta, calamari and many things with names i cannot pronounce.

After dinner we met up with Ian. He was the best man at Cara and Eric's wedding and he lives out here. We headed out for margaritas at the Velvet Margarita Cantina and closed the place down... which really doesn't say much since we ordered our drinks during last call.

After attempting to find an after hours hangout, we gave up and went back to the hotel for beers. Ian was full of fantastic information. For instance, did you know that in-n-out burger has a secret menu you can order from? you can get grilled cheese, under or overcooked fries, a bunless burger- the "flying dutchman", a 4x4 (4 patties, 4 slices of cheese), and a 100x100... which is, yes, 100 beef patties and 100 cheese slices.

All the fun had to end. A good night had by all.
